Stop double taxation
The problems of double taxation of VAT on mobile applications and other electronic services requires speedy resolution, which has prompted the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise together with a number of prominent industry associations (including the Swedish Games Industry) to send an open letter to the Tax-General, Ingemar Hansson.
The problem is so acute for many companies that serious consideration is being given to moving production abroad. It's time for the Swedish Tax Agency to apply basic principles of law and avoid double taxation.
