While an expert jury consisting of gaming journalists and industry experts deliberates over the game of the year, the Swedish people will get their chance to determine their own personal favourite in the People's Choice category. Last year this category was won by Mass Effect 2.

This year the nominees are based on the most sold games in Sweden as provided by media control-Gfk as well as those nominated in the Game of the Year category.
