Worthy winners in first ever Developer Awards

On Friday 17 February, the first ever Developer Awards was held to celebrate and honor the best achievements within game development over the past year.

The winners were nominated through an open voting system with the winner selected by an expert jury of game developers. It goes to the people behind the game, by game developers for game developers and is unique in its kind.

The premier was an unprecedented success with over 1300 votes cast and a gala party at the nightclub Ambassadeur in Stockholm. The event was hosted by Angelica Norgren, radio show host of P3 Spel. The jury consisted of Magnus Alm (Chairman), Free Lunch Design, Linus Blomberg, Avalanche and Tommy Palm, Fabrication Games.
